In late 1995, just as Shockwave was starting out, Brad Hicks of Hicks Design Group and I were working on the web site for IDG Books. This Shockwave movie was a concept piece, derived from the design Brad had done for the home page, incorporating the artwork of Steve Vance. The Shockwave version of the page was never used on the IDG web site.
